Kids Campus is located in Stuart, Iowa in the Stuart Elementary School. We are proud to offer an exciting and enriching after school and summer care program for school age children 5 to 12 years.

Company Description - Kids Campus is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) company providing DHS licensed school age childcare services. Kids Campus is governed by a five person board of directors. Kids Campus contracts for administrative and personnel services with Kids Korner, LLC that is owned and operated by Lezlie Ellerman and Tammy Hickman-Fay. Kids Korner has a successful childcare operation with locations in both Dallas Center and Adel.

Mission Statement – Kids Campus-Stuart will create an extended hands-on learning environment that compliments the school age child’s existing classroom curriculum in a fun and creative manner.

Services – Kids Campus-Stuart will provide the WCV community with quality childcare for school age children. Our program will provide a loving, safe, and stable environment. We will partner with resources such as Heartland AEA, Childcare Resource and Referral, and Public Health departments to support the needs of working families in the West Central Valley area to enable each child to reach his or her full potential. Our services will also include:

  • Opportunity to expand learning through historical, natural and physical activity-focused field trips.
  • Parental education via newsletters and classes at the ISU extension office and with Childcare resources.
  • Cooperation with the Department of Human Services to provide care for underprivileged children in the community.

STEAM encourages a child's successful future by promoting critical thinking skills as well as aiding in the development of problem-solving skills necessary for children to communicate, collaborate and achieve.
